Heading home

After a slow lazy start to the morning (and a delicious breakfast) we headed home. We had time for a 20 minute wander around St Pancras - which I'd not really been to since it was all done up. This is a detail from the base of the 'Meeting Place' sculpture. You can read more about the sculpture here. For what it's worth, I thought it was fascinating, and a great idea to combine a larger than life sculpture, with small intricate details too.

Lovely journey home: first class had turned out to be the same price as standard class for this journey, so we had a quiet carriage, occasional free cups of tea and biscuits, and room to spread out the papers and argue about the construction of a government. We didn't come to a firm conclusion, but then we're not the only ones.
