Point Reyes birds

We spent the weekend camping at Coast Camp at Point Reyes National Seashore, my favorite local campground.

These birds (sanderlings, I think, or small sandpipers) spend their days running back and forth, getting food when the wave is out and running back as the wave comes in. They seem to go at it 24/7.
