The lens works....

Met a friend at the Mission in San Juan Bautista. They have beautiful gardens. If you read my journal yesterday, I had a lens that took a spill and I wasn't sure how well it would do (the barrel for zooming is stiffer).

My other choice for a blip was this shot in IR
Edit: Judging by reaction on another form, the IR shot should have been my blip!
