Time to Test

Back in March I had a bit of a closet disaster. What woke me was the sound of metal hitting the floor. That metal was the lens shade for my Zeiss 24-70 lens - yes the lens was attached and hit the deck as well. At this point the barrel of the lens feels much stiffer the I remember it. Uggh! In addition, I've been dreading the fact that I could be forced to replace this lens. Because I've been afraid to find if the lens is damaged, I haven't even taken it out for some testing.

Tomorrow I'm going shooting and finally I've gotten up the guts to face the music and will test it out. As I was getting my gear together I took a few shots with the lens. So far, so good..... more tomorrow.
