A deer in willow

This is a willow sculpture by the artist Trevor Leat who has a studio in Auchencairn. I bought it last year during the Spring Fling which is an annual arts weekend during which there is the opportunity to visit lots and lots of galleries and studios in the South West of Scotland. The deer sits on my lawn and in the dusk is very lifelike - I have just put it back out after the winter (willow can get mildewed if left in the cold and wet for too long!)
