Ropes

This tangle was along the shore of Inganess Bay. Old rope, nets and fishing boxes are probably the main kind of rubbish on the shores here. Still, they're much better than most coast down south.

I had a look at a raven's nest I found a couple of weeks ago. I could make out two chicks, but there may have been more; the nest is tucked in a crevice in a cliff. A local man rings raven chicks and I'm hoping to go along one day, though to a more accessible nest.
Common terns are here now and very noisy, about seven or eight brown hares were running around as if it were still March, their madness has spilled over to May.
