Zingerman's Deli

There's supposed to be a university or college somewhere in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but I'm really only familiar with Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan (Go Spartans!). However, there is a world famous delicatessen there called Zingerman's Deli. I try to get there once or twice a month for their Viva Las Vegan sandwich, which has grilled artichokes, roasted red pepper, spinach and hummus on toasted farmer's bread. To say it's awesome would be an understatement. They also sell gourmet treats like olive oil, herbs, spices, and balsamic vinegar, as well as as full assortment of (mostly non-vegan) deli items.

Today there was a line out the door and around the block, and that was at 2:00 in the afternoon. People, it's called "Cell Phones and Calling Ahead." I'm just saying.

Barack Obama is giving the commencement speech at the local college tomorrow, so the town and local establishments were busier than usual.
