Against the Mountain

When you are surrounded by such beautiful mountains, it is hard to resist the temptation to include them in every capture. The weather was wonderful today and I took my scooter out to smell the flowers. The city is flooded with many colourful tulips and today I saw many new buds in the gardens. I was riding along the water when I was struck by this image when I reached McNeal beach. The snow capped mountains and clouds contrasted the starkness of the trees and rocks in the foreground.
And best of all, along with capturing this image, I was able to spend some time on the beach enjoying the sun!
