Vappu Preparation

This is a very common sight to behold at this time of year in Finland. All the Teekkarit (technical students) put on their overalls, which have different colours according to the faculty in which they study, and basically party for the whole week leading up to 1st May/Labour Day/MayDay or as it's known in Finnish language: Vappu. It really has become a student celebration and there are a number of 'nice' traditions to go along with it! You might see some photographic evidence of that in the next couple days!
