Confetti
I've finally found out what confetti actually are! As far as I understand, confetti are sugared almonds, often given to guests at weddings in Italy! We English-speakers have adopted and corrupted the word from Italian (as usual) and use it to mean the stuff that you throw over the bride and groom at weddings (at least in the UK), and that is usually little pieces of coloured paper, or something similar. Interesting...!
This particular parcel of confetti came from the south of Italy. Very exotic :D They tasted really good too, each one had a different flavour!
