BIG Decisions

The contractor that we chose to install new siding on our house surprised us and installed a mini sample of the siding, with trim and all, painted in the colors we told him we liked. He installed it right on the front of our house! We weren't expecting it and saw it when we came home on Sunday. Turns out he's a smart man because once we saw this sample up there, we decided we didn't like the color at all. So the pressure is on now to choose a color before next Monday and since I'll be gone until next Monday, extreme measures had to be taken.

I raced out to the local home improvement store and bought 10 different sample colors that I'm now going to sample patches all over the front of our house. It will look absolutely terrible until they start the work in three or four weeks. But can you imagine the fun of slopping paint all over the exterior walls of your house, with reckless abandon? Maybe I'll blip it tomorrow and take votes on which color we should use. It's a BIG decision - and somewhat permanent. I wish someone else would make it for me.
