Magnolias

Beautiful magnolias taken this morning in the country pile's Oriental garden, with the turret of the East Wing just visible in the background - I wish! At Edinburgh University's Pollock Halls (affectionately know locally as *ollock Halls) for the second day of a conference today. Only, it was really the first day for me as I only attended the dinner last night...

Anyway, also managed to meet up with a letting agent who's, having crossed his palm with silver, taken-over all the hard work of getting tennants into and thereafter managing the flat. Great, a load off my mind.

Looking forward to the Blip event tomorrow night. Having voted for three of the contenders, I'm now anxious about who's going to win..
