A bonanza for the birds

Not a good photograph by any stretch of the imagination, but the only one I have for today...taken through a dirty window and falling rain. So much rain had fallen within the hour that the birds in our neighbor's backyard thought they had hit a bonanza. This early bird caught the worm.

It was fair weather early in the afternoon, leading me to say, "When I get home we can take Gulliver for a walk in the park."

Ha! The joke was on me. By the time I got home the rain was pelting down creating rivers in the gutters and huge puddles in the parking lots and backyards. But we needed the rain, so you won't hear me complaining, and despite the rain, it has been a good day. Hope yours was too.
