Miracle or mackerel?
This is a picture of a miracle that looks like mackerel (skin) (to me).
The miracle is: I sat in the rain. I SAT in the RAIN!
To understand the nature of this miracle you need to know that I am a fair-weather everything. Don't believe that line 'There's no bad weather, only bad clothes.'
This is a shot of a waterproof jacket I was sitting on. The miracle kind of crept up on me. I was drawn to go out to my Sit Spot on a grey, still, mild and misty day. The seawall was so wet so I brought out an extra jacket to sit on. Then a few spots of rain landed on the camera, tucked it inside my jacket, pulled up the hood. More rain. Still wanted to sit and to blip. So went in and got a brolly. Happy as Larry, an hour later after a heavy downpour I realised the camera was dry but my legs were soaked and I was sitting in a puddle. This image is proof of that puddle and the sneaky shift of identity.
Who is this person? What happened to fair-weather Grace go? Where did she go?
