....found to be acting the goat is thrown from the 60 feet climbing tower, thus ensuring their goatiness is permanently cured. It's a tradition we borrowed from the good burghers of Manganeses de la Polvorosa.

Unfortunately, it was mizzling when we took the tents down and that will necessitate hanging and drying 14 patrol tents; misery. The bus journey home was fine until one of the Cubs threw-up at Maybury roundabout. I'm going to have to mop out the cabin before taking it back to the hire firm tonight. Damn.

Overall, a most satisfying weekend Scouting, looking forward to a long hot soak and a hoppy german beer later.
