A child so very filthy she left a ring around the bath tonight. She had been to the allotment with her father despite the rain. I had congratulated myself on remembering to put on her all in one waterproof so this was an unexpected delight to behold when they arrived home, she was dressed in her vest and trousers which were wet up to the knees.

Turns out she had got hot, found some mud and some puddles, removed her waterproof, her Tshirt ,her boots and her socks and had been paddling . She was VERY proud of herself. I tried to take her photo but she covered her face, i took this as she removed her hands. i think she looks wonderful, whats a little dirt between mother and child ?
