Sea bottom

Really low tide today so I took a wander out over the rocks which are normally underneath the sea. Some fabulous rock pools and thousands upon thousands of barnacles.

These limpets look as if they have maybe hung about there for quite a while. If you look at the pic in big you might just be able to see the baby barnacles, wee lilac purple blobs.

Must be quite an amazing world when it all comes to life under water. I guess that and the wrecks of the blockships a popular spot for people learning to dive.
