Middle Dog
I've been trying to cut down on the Nevis shots for a while, aware that 'shooting the dog' is sometimes too easy an option. So having resisted featuring him for two months (he has had a few bit parts), I thought his return should be a proper formal portrait. Couldn't be bothered with a studio setup, so the garden will have to do.
Nevis's behaviour has dramatically improved in the last few months - so much so that we almost thought he was ill. He now mostly does what he is told, sits to go back on the lead when he is told to, and has become very affectionate.
We don't know if it was the Top Dog treatment, the dogagility and obedience training, a cut in diet (because the vet reckoned he was a bit over ideal weight) or that he has just grown up - but it's good.
He is no longer Top Dog - maybe not bottom dog either, so let's settle for Middle Dog.
