Room 101: Polite Notices

My candidate for Room 101 is any notice which proclaims itself as 'Polite'.

Invariably any notice which claims to be polite, isn't. It is almost as if the very act of including the words 'Polite Notice' instantly make them seem so much less polite.

A really polite notice would start with the word 'Please' and end with the words 'Thank You'. Then you would know it was polite, so it wouldn't also need to tell you.

This one almost got away with it by being a wee bit light-hearted, but adding the 'Polite Notice' bit just made it like all the other 'Impolite Notices' out there.

As regards dog poo, I think Grandmama already has that covered.
