I ventured out for a solo wander today. A quick nip to the bank to grab an application form and then up by the National Gallery of Scotland and back to the office.

I filled out an online application for an ISA with, lets just say it's a spanish owned bank... that was on the 10th and I've not heard anything since! and I've filled out a tracking form to find out whats happened to my application... no reply as yet and thats was 2 days ago! So effectively I've lost out in about 2 weeks worth of ineterst by the time I do get it open! Banks don't seem to need money now!

Update on my sister stuck in Europe:-
I've been texting her today, she is still France as we speak, on a train heading to Calais, where she will try and get on a ferry.
