What a nice job...

Oh, my sister is stuck in the Iceland volcano chaos! She was due to fly back from Hong Kong today, but the last leg of her flight Amsterdam to Edinburgh got canceled! Basically KLM said that she will be on standby for the Hong Kong flight - as priority people from the stranded groups were first to get on her flight. If there was enough space, she will get on, but they won't be able to do anything about the last leg! She would have to make her own way back to the UK from Amsterdam! The other option was to reschedule her ticket... 15th of May was the next available flight!

She managed to get on, for some reason managed to get on a different flight, heading to Paris. I'm not sure what happened as everything sounded rush so I didn't get a change to ask... did the airline change her flight again? I have to wait and find out. I think she is going to take the Euro tunnel over from France and then train back up to Scotland... what a nightmare!
