The lucky escape of the red squirrel

Not on topic but such a funny moment. Out walking with a picnic in the woods. Oscar, our troubled schizophrenic lurcher was bimbling along when his nose went up and sniffed the air. Whoooosh and he was off. A red squirrel ran out of the undegrowth and up to the tree. Oscar in hot pursuit. The cunning squirrel ran for one of the tall pines in the wood and started scaling it... Oscar spotted it and he was attempting to CLIMB the tree. LOL!

The canny squirrel got up into the canopy of the tree some 20-30ft up and looked down while Oscar and Jake looked up. Jake in amusement, Oscar just wishing he had brought his crampons :-)
