midweek holiday...

midweek holidays are great...they give all the time one needs to do all the 'nothings' that've pending for long. Today is Tamil new year and some other occasion as well. Not really sure which one did my office pick up to call it a holiday today...whichever it may be, I'm not questioning. It has been incredibly hot today and add to that the problem with the water supply - definitely not the best day to stay back at home. But I had a few 'nothings' to be taken care of. Late in the afternoon the sky looked very promising - a thick layer of black clouds covered up the sun - I was wondering at the early sunset today. But all hopes went down the drain as some gust of wind from somewhere took the clouds away. Looks like we're not going to have any premature rains this season.

Have been planning out the Bhutan trip lately. All goes well, this could be the trip of the year. Can't wait to get back to the hills :)
