Navy Pier

Chicago Day 3: This is the Ferris Wheel at the Navy Pier. Once again I swallowed my fear of heights! Thankfully we were in an enclosed capsule which didn't rock much. It also helped that the wheel turns very, very slowly. I didn't even realize when we reached the top until we started our descent. In fact, it moves so slowly that you get in and out while it is moving. We would have liked to have gone around twice.

Our other goal for the day was the White Sox baseball game. 60,000 seats in the stadium so we didn't worry about purchasing tickets ahead. Not our brightest move. They sold out while were in line! Poor Mr. Odd Days -- he was so looking forward to going.
