Project 'Chicken Coop'

The kids embarked on the renovations of the old coop with enthusiasm.. and a little help from the adults! It was a messy job due to a slight tactical error at the store that resulted in the oil based enamel instead of water based paint...we seem to encounter good reasons daily for improving our Italian... but a good time was had by all, and the project was well under way by lunch time. Total disaster was averted somehow and the Dad's saved the project by making a special trip back to the paint store in anticipation of completing the job tomorrow.

We enjoyed a lovely adults-only dinner out - food was great, wine was terrific and company fantastic as always!
