Sometimes...

...some things just catch my eye. This morning while enjoying my coffee, I noticed the Japanese Maple on the deck (which is still quite young - the maple, that is). The leaves are not fully open yet, so they are still pointing downward, but they way the sunlight caught the leaves was interesting to me. But taking a shot of the leaves straight on was not. So I took a cushion off one of the deck chairs, laid down on it and shot the leaves from the bottom, looking skyward.

I'm so tired this evening. The day went by so quickly! But it was a productive and fruitful day, so I have no complaints :)
