Feather Falls

Our group left Oroville early and drove to the trailhead for the hike to Feather Falls. We had been warned that there might be snow on the trail, as there had been a cold storm through the day before. It was chilly when we started our hike, but no snow and a perfect day for hiking. The photo was taken near high noon, so the light is not good. There were lots of wildflowers along the trail which was about 9 miles round trip.

The rest of the hikers returned to the Bay Area, but I drove on to McCloud, California to visit my brother.
