Stove Scones.

One of the house favourites here are Drop Scones/Scotch Pancakes, cooked straight on the Aga hot plate... you can get more on than a griddle or frying pan, and speed is the essence with these. They get chomped up very very quickly.

It was a very happy day today*, and in the rush my camera got mislaid until just now.
So I do apologise for the poor quality of this blip. But it is a record of part of an excellent afternoon birthday tea,( taken on my iphone).
Time for bed now, at the end of a great day. I can not imagine eating again, in quite a while.



*My Birthday was topped of by my daughter calling me to tell me she was engaged. That revved up the tea party.
