Day 1 in Ghana

Today I met my personal driver Augustin for the first time.

I needed to head to the mall to get a sim card as its too expensive to use my UK phone here. R gave me a phone he had so the iphone is in flight mode for the next 3 weeks. The sim card cost 1 Cede about 50p... BARGAIN! Did some shopping too... I say mall... you can go around it in about 2 minutes, its very small!

Afterwards Augustin dropped me off at a local hotel where I spent the afternoon reading, swimming and indulging in a Pina Colada! Had a strange moment as all the crew from the night befores flight (I will blip a photo from yesterday when I am on my own laptop as I took one with the phone) were sat by the pool... not bad this cabin crew job is it!

When he picked me up to go home, he went via the above which is the Labadi area to show me the beach and to check out the Labadi Beach Hotel where I am going to go tomorrow after some sightseeing.

It is Hot Hot Hot!!
