Ethans new pushchair
We have a really nice iCandy travel system for Ethan, but Granny decided she'd like to buy another pushchair to be kept at her house for when we come to visit. Her main criteria was that it should be able to be both forward and rear facing but she didn't want to pay a fortune for it. She also wanted it to be new. Talk about a challenge! Most of the ones with the rear facing option are also travel systems and so you pay through the nose for that capability - from £250 upwards just for the pushchair part. Fine if it's the main pushchair but not for one for occasional use! Anyway, we finally found one which was on special offer in Boots for £150 so ordered it and it arrived today.
I wished I'd had the camera to hand when Granny was trying to assemble all the bits as it was quite entertaining. Not that I could have done a better job myself of course but an hour later she had just about sussed it out!
We put Ethan in it to see what he thought as he has only ever been in the carrycot part of my pram, not the pushchair part, as he's so tiny. He looked rather bemused for a minute or two and then burst into tears! Awww!
