Crocus

This is my third shot of a purple crocus in as many weeks, so I'm not showing much imagination, am I? However, these beautiful wee flowers won't be here for much longer so I reckon take the shot when I've got the chance. I'm always drawn to macro shots of flowers. Someone once said to me that when you get a new camera you should decide on a project to gauge how much your skills improve as you use the camera more and more. Well, when I bought my SLR in the days before digital, I chose to take flower shots and I guess I've never got out of the habit.

Down at the flat this morning to arrange some works to be done before I have to brace myself for the grimbusters cleanout when the beautiful boy and his flatmate move out at the end of the month. I need now to get organised to advertise a 'beautiful two-bedroomed flat on the Shores of Leith available for rent from May' to entice some new tennants into the abode.

Was out for a curry and some beers last night and, as a consequence, slept really badly. Going out again tonight - well, I am on holiday - so see if I can manage to moderate the food and alcohol consumption this time...
