Lichen

Early morning walk up Corstorphine Hill with my lovely pal Isi - ey up, fluffy duck - who came through to stay last night. It was a bit of a 'blow away the cobwebs' jaunt after a night of over-indulgence, during which we cracked open a few bottles and ate like pigs whilst catching-up on the past few months since we've last seen each other. Lovely! Isi and I met when we were both newly registered as nurses, way back in the last century, and have remained firm friends ever since.

Set-to clearing out the garage this afternoon and made a successful trip with a carload to the local recycling centre. Also 'phoned the local cooncil to arrange for a special uplift. At this rate, I'll soon be able to put the car away in the garage overnight!
