Beautiful Day

Today was beautiful, so warm and sunny. It's half term and the children and I made the most of the nice weather.

Lady Cait and I started trying to encourage Little Al to learn to ride his bike. He was nervous at first but Lady Cait was so patient with him. I stepped back and just watched them together, capturing a mental picture of a special brother-sister moment so I can look back at it when they're back to arguing!

His face when he started riding was fantastic. He was so proud of himself and couldn't wait to show daddy when he arrived home from work.

Later in the afternoon we took our dog, Archie, for a walk and did four geocaches along the way! Lady Cait found all four of them! She was in charge of navigation too. She constantly amazes me, she is growing up so fast it scares me but it is also beautiful to watch.

A truely lovely day today, and worth every ache in my body! :o)
