Another flower ...

This time its an Aubretia bloom ... we have it growing on the top of an old dyke here where it hangs down over the stones and gives lots of colour for ages in Spring. First few buds starting to open, loads to come later. The flowers are pretty small and this is a close up shot - typically it was the first pic I took when I walked out the door on a 5 minute "snapping break". I picked this one because I like the way that the stamens (the sticky up bits in the centre of the flower) cast a shadow on the petals.
