Coloring the Eggs

Can you believe this is Closer Grampa's first time coloring eggs? Well, actually, I'm sure that he colored them when he was a boy. But Closer Gramma says that for 43 years she's tried to get him to help color eggs and he never would. Tonight, they came over to watch. He had lots of aches and pains today and was grumping and groaning. They weren't going to even sit at the table with us so they would stay out of the way....But then Grampa sat down between his son and his grandson....He ended up coloring like 5 eggs! He was having a blast! Gramma was amazed. We colored 36 eggs. That's a lot of egg salad & deviled eggs!

After eggs, we lit the fireplace and sat to enjoy it. A nice evening.

.....And tomorrow it's Easter, with all the eggcitement and eggpectiation!
