Family afternoon

Lazy morning for me - didn't get up till 11.30! In the meantime, Corin and James had bacon butties for breakfast. Missed out there!

Spent a couple of hours cropping and choosing photos from the multitude from Saturday - two sets here - I am so very pleased with them - our 'official' photographer has done us proud and we owe him big time. There are a number of other official photographers too, including my Dad and Corin's Dad, as well as MV (I am waiting with anticipation to see what you captured MV - I might have to come over and visit you this week!). So many images - so wonderful - beautiful portraits and some awesome record shots of things that we remember, and things that we didn't even see. We are very very grateful for having such talented and generous family and friends - we DO know how lucky we are. Thank you :-) Personally, a big thank you as well, because somehow, the photos have captured me so well - I actually look good! That's not an egotistical statement - I genuinely keep sitting here thinking "wow" because there isn't a dodgy shot - its amazing what makeup and a decent dress can do for a girl! The shots of Corin and I together seem to have captured both the fun and giddy side of us both, and obviously those lovely "loved up" looks too :-)

You'll be sick of wedding pictures in a few days.

Anyways up - we've been off to family this afternoon. Firstly for an hour to Corin's Aunty Barbara - took her a photo of the family and a thank you card for her generous wedding gift. It was lovely to spend some time with her - she is a real character - full of fun and mischief - lovely lady.

Then off to my new Mum and Dad's house! (Casa Dunwood) Snaffled yet more photos from Pete, chinwag with Liz and then some quality moments yet again with Lilly. whenever I see her I do actually think that maybe another child wouldn't be such a bad thing. Oh dear - what am I thinking?!?!

Corin is really quite taken with Lilly - she was so adorable on Saturday and spent a lot of time with Corin, who is no longer "that funny man". She was determined this afternoon that she would go 'for a drive' in Corin's car - so even after she'd given him a big hug because it was time for us to go, she didn't let him forget that she needed a go in the yellow peril before we went. Corin showed her how to honk the car's horn. She has learned an important driving skill today - we will remind her of it in years to come!

We are looking forward to coming to visit you all in a few weeks, back on your home turf!
