Pretty girl: cow elk

My husband and I just returned from our annual anniversary trip, so I'm back blipping. We go on a short trip every spring (sans children) to celebrate our anniversary, which was March 20. This year is our 28th. We both love the outdoors and wildlife so we go somewhere where we can be outside and observe wildlife. We went to the Grande Ronde River in southeastern Washington about 3 hours from where we live. We were looking for a place to camp when we came upon a group of elk grazing in a wheat or grass field. They were there every evening of our stay.
