Stay-Home Day

Aside from a trip to the grocery store to stock up for Easter dinner, E and I cocooned at home for our rainy "stay-home day" - as we call the Fridays that I'm off work and he isn't enrolled in preschool. I built a fire and we relaxed in the living room, reading books and building with Legos. It was a wonderful, calm day. A joined the relaxed scene after school, and then at dinnertime we ventured across town to have dinner with friends, which was a lot of loud, chaotic, fun!
