While saluting the phallic
That you call a flag-pole,
"Love it or leave it, Comrade."

While civilians and soldiers are shot
Running and dying in a panic.
"Bush doesn't care about black people"
Is less a mantra, more a fad.

"Dum spiro, spero" is a thought
For Jacobins sick
Of monarchal control,
Searching for an impeachment parade.
