BethaBlip 40...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Not an awful lot has happened in the last month although there has been significant learning that has happened. She is getting pretty good at writing. She can write a couple of letters from her name, her most prolific is the letter B which we find on pieces of paper, magnetic drawing boards, all over. It's like a little tag.

She impressed MrsTFP coming home in the car from Dobbies the other week. She was in the back of the car lookng at her 'grow your own garden peas in a packet' thing. She said she wanted to open them and when MrsTFP warned her that she didn't know what to do, she just started rhyming off, "I cut it open, the put water in it then it grows in the sun." MrsTFP amazingly thought she'd read the instructions. There was actually pictorial instruction which was still pretty impressive for her age to translate.

She got some rave reviews from one of her pictures at nursery. So much so that the wanted to keep it there for a wee bit. I've not seen it but it's a picture of some easter chicks.

Bethany also finally got a chance to host the nursery's travelling monkey, Curious, whom we had to play with, draw pictures of and take photos.
