BethaBlip 51...
This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.
By all accounts the big news this month is the event from yesterday where Bethany learned to ride her bike without stabilisers and daddy balance assistance. We took the stabilisers off earlier in the month and after a couple of balance assistance sessions, she can now manage unassisted riding. She still needs help pushing off and stopping but that's the next lesson.
It was the easter show at nursery this week which I unfortunately missed but Bethany apparently had a starring role as the last of the five speckled frogs that jumped off the log into the cool of the pool.
I'm guessing that she learned it at nursery but the favourite song of the moment seems to be 'Sing a song of six pence'. It's proving popular as the bedtime sleeptime. The other main bedtime song is a version of 'Alison's starting to Happen' by the Lemonheads but with Alison replaced with Bethany.
