Fallen

A prickly seed case of the Beech tree lies fallen in the snow that we had yesterday.

Today was sunny but unfortunately with the high winds of the storm yesterday we were without electricity for 24hrs (no hot water or heating). It was warmer outside in the sun so I went for a wander to see what I could find.

The local farmer was kind enough to clear the snow so we could get the car out but he was struggling to get down some tracks 'tae feed the coo's cause i the snaw'.
