Today is April Fools Day as well as Census Day in the US.

Every ten years most of us 'fools' in the US fill out a Census form that tallies how many people are living in our homes on April 1st of that year. We dare not decline to fill out the form since that will result in a "Census Enumerator" paying you an untimely and inconvenient visit to gather the information in person. ...usually during dinner, weekends, or the final seconds of Game 7 of the NBA Championships...

Therefore I am fulfilling my civic duty, warding off unwanted government-sanctioned intrusions, and standing to be counted.
