An April Fool...

Goofing off today testing the new Canon Speedlite 320 EX and the Canon Speedlite 270 EXII. Both flashes can be used as wireless slaves AND can also serve as a wireless remote shutter release. There's a button on the side of both units that allows you to fire certain Canon EOS DSLRs remotely within a range of approximately 16 feet - with or without flash.

In this self-portrait, both Speedlites are set to Channel 1 / Group A and the 320 EX was then used to fired the Canon EOS 7D remotely.

One another cool feature included in the 320 EX is a built-in LED light that can be used for video, focusing stills in low light, and as an automatic light source when using the Canon EOS T3 or T3I in Live View.

Best of all they will be available later this month with an MSRP of $169 for the 270EXII and $249 for the 320 EX. Very affordable alternatives for photographers who are looking to expand their lighting kit.
