White Rhododendrons

The name rhododendron comes from the Greek "rhodo" which means "rose" and "dendron" meaning "tree". When you see a truly healthy established rhododendron in full flush, you can see why the Greeks called it a "rose tree".
Florida is identified with a number of different plants and flowers. The sweet magnolia, orange blossoms, mangrove and cypress trees in the Everglades, exotic hibiscus and birds of paradise in south Florida all represent different elements of Florida's essence. Another, more stately image of Florida is captured in the beauty of azaleas and rhododendrons. These flowering shrubs thrive in Florida's soil and climate, providing year-round beauty.
