The Outdoor Show @ the NEC

Over the years its become a ritual to head to the NEC for The Outdoor Show.

Its changed over the years and has dwindled in size by some way since it began but it is a good day out none the less!

The Wild Boar and Apple Sandwich went down a treat!

I haven't bought anything for myself for months so yesterdays purchases and these today (fleece and Keela trousers) are very much treats long waited for and todays purchases will be great in Ghana and particularly South Africa.

For the first time we took R's Mum M, she was in her element and won the biggest spending award, shortly followed by R and I brought up the rear!

M had a great time which was fantastic and it was also good to catch up with a long time friend G too.

Sadly its the last time The Outdoor Show will be at the NEC its moving to the ExCel Centre next year and is rumoured to be in January and mixed in with a couple of other shows too. We'll wait and see.
