The Lovely R!

Making his first blip appearance is the lovely R!

He arrived home this morning on one of our flagship airlines planes! All in all despite them going on strike 15 minutes into his flight (meaning a reduced crew and no hot food) all went smoothly and they got him into Heathrow around 15 minutes early! Which was great as we were reunited after 12 weeks apart just before 7am! If you were there in T5 around that time... yes it was me wiping a tear or 3 from my eyes!

We left Heathrow and made our way across to the other side of the M25 and the London ExCel Centre for the London International Dive Show (LIDS) a really great day was had and I managed to get some new fins and a pair of gloves! I am building my equipment up slowly! My days purchases are sportingly being carried by the lovely R in this picture! He insisted on carrying everything... what a gentleman!


Bless him we set off for home around 3pm and I managed the M11 but I was 2 minutes on the M25 when my days of counting down, the days excitement & 4am get up, caught up and the lovely R had to take over the driving! Needless to say all the excitement and joy at being back with R had me overcome and I promptly fell asleep and woke up at Junction 16 of the M1!

Getting home M, was there and pleased to see her only child and son and a really lovely evening followed complete with a bottle of fizz!

Welcome home R I love you with all my heart, its so so good to have you home!!
