This was a fun day. I needed to go up to USC to meet with the librarian. Scott went with me and we walked through the library before my meeting. We found this display of various writers and their travel books. Some were older like John Steinbeck and Ernest Hemingway and some were newer like Pico Iyer and David Sedaris. All were excellent writers that create a strong sense of place in wherever they are writing about.
I loved this map too - very geographic!

After my meeting, we went to the Lab, which is a cute name for the gastropub across the street from campus. Burgers and beer made the day complete.
