Easter Party!

This morning was Landon's preschool Easter Party & his last day before Spring Break, so I worked in the classroom and always enjoy hearing what comes 'out of the mouth of babes'. They were so cute. They had made and decorated their own eggs and baskets last week...so they excitedly hunted for their eggs on the playground after working on some projects. We went along with the theme by having the brightly colored Trix yogurt and Easter sugar cookies. I filled their baskets with goodies that each parent brought. Their teacher read them a book during circle-time explaining the meaning of Easter. When they got to the part about the nails in Jesus' hands, Landon winced and I watched him open his own little hand and poke at it...trying to wrap his 4-year-old mind around what Jesus went through. It was something only I noticed, but it meant alot.

I'm hoping for a relaxing Friday night! Tomorrow is packed full with our Little League Opening Day.
