Scrimmage Game

Tonight was Loren's first scrimmage game for the season. Things went well, but the night ran very late and got cold & windy. I was sad to have missed most of my small group night with my friends...but enjoy watching Loren play. So bittersweet. My camera doesn't take really clear pictures when zoomed in, especially when the sun is setting. Here's a pic of my boy pitching. He just recently turned 11 years old. I love that he has been so brave to do this, a few years ago I would never have pictured him being comfortable in this position. He has really stepped outside of his comfort zone. I'm proud of him.
